Issue #2 — A Resource and a Podcast
The Critical Journey and The Surprising Rebirth of Belief in God
In this issue, there's not a lot of content, but there is A LOT to think about. In other words, when you dive in, be prepared to do some deep introspection.
What I’m Dwelling on: The Critical Journey
Recently, I shared The Critical Journey paradigm with a new group of people and as always, it resonated deeply. Without fail, it helps people gain fresh insights into their journey with God. As we contemplate our stories during this season, I highly recommend it!!
What is The Critical Journey? It is a resource that lays out the stages of faith. It helps us understand what’s next and what stands in the way. For a video explanation by yours truly, watch this:

What I’m Listening to: The Surprising Rebirth of Belief in God
Lately, I am enjoying this long-form documentary podcast presented by Justin Brierley. It tells the story of why “new atheism” grew old and secular thinkers are considering Christianity again. Even if you haven’t noticed the influence of “new atheists” like Sam Harris and Richard Dawkins, this podcast will encourage your faith as Brierley tells stories that reflect the title: “The Surprising Rebirth of Belief in God.”
You can find the podcast wherever you listen to podcasts or click here. You can watch a 2-minute introduction here.
I’ll be in San Antonio, TX Nov. 14-17 for the 75th annual meeting of the Evangelical Theological Society. It should be rich. To see the program, click here.
